چکیده

Sumithion is an organophosphorus insecticide, which widely used in aquaculture ponds for eradication of aquatic insect (mainly tiger bug) prior to release larvae. This study was conducted evaluate the effects pesticide, sumithion on histoarchitecture liver and kidney common carp (Cyprinus carpio) during period from July December 2016. It carried out with four treatments, each two replications. i.e., no (T0), 0.025ppm (T1), 0.050 ppm (T2) 0.100 (T3). The water quality parameters, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, total alkalinity, free CO2, nitrate-nitrogen (NO3-N), phosphate-phosphorus (PO4-P) were not affected by sub lethal doses but values fluctuated significantly most cases between throughout period. In case kidney, normal structure cells observed controlled treated fish. Through histological analysis liver, small vacuole, enlarge lumen space hepatopancreas disrupted found T1. Disrupted hepatopancreas, increasement intracellular space, regeneration hepatic cell hemorrhage T2. Moreover, degenerated cell, T3. After renal corpuscle, enlargement blood vessel, hematopoetic Ruptured collecting duct, large Furthermore, bowman’s ruptured distal tubule disrupted, necrosis present investigation sufficiently emphasizes that has adverse major organs like kidney.

Lipid Quality of Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio) in Pond Culture

There is a large body of evidence that n-3 fatty acids, especially EPA and DHA are beneficial for human health. Content of these fatty acids in fish fillet can be influenced by several factors. This thesis examined differences in lipid content, lipid class and fatty acid composition among three parts of common carp fillets. The effect of genetic background on lipid content and fatty acid compos...

Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio

The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) belongs to the family Cyprinidae. In nature, carp live in the middle or lower reaches of a river with slow currents, or in marshes. Their habitats are usually weedy areas with a muddy bottom. Carp fry feed on zooplankton such as rotifers and copepods, but as they grow up they become benthic feeders, feeding on animals and other organic material. The cyprinids h...
